Hampton Beach Club is an existing 15-story high-rise condominium apartment. The building was built in 1980. The occupancy of this building, as classified in the Florida Fire Prevention Code, is a multiple occupancy, mixed, existing apartment occupancy with assembly, storage and other incidental uses.
The building shape approximates a “Y” with the long axis running North to South and the base wing running West to East. The Lobby Level (Floor one) and residential tower (Floors 1 -15) are built upon a partially underground garage (Ground Level). There are 176 residential dwelling units on floors one through 15 which are served by 4 enclosed exit stairs which are accessible to all apartments via a central exit access corridor and an exterior means of exit access on the West side of the building. The central core of the building is served by 2 elevator cabs in a single shaft. The “North” and “South” stack of apartments are each served by an elevator and elevator lobby which is only accessible to those two units on each floor.
