is Palm Bay Towers is an existing 26-story high-rise (there is no 13th floor). The building was built in 1972. The occupancy of this building, as classified in the Florida Fire Prevention Code, is a multiple occupancy, mixed, existing apartment occupancy with assembly, storage and other incidental uses.
The 26-story tower consists of a common level/entry floor on the first floor, with 1/3 of the building built over the bay. It is condo apartments from the 2nd floor to the roof, with a penthouse unit having access to the private roof area on the west side. The shape of the building of a is a unique tri-star shape, with all curved interior and exterior walls and balconies. The one-of a kind elevators are shaped to fit the contour of the a building, opening into a shared common area, rather than a corridor on all common floors. Separate from the building is the pump and generator building to the west, surrounded by the parking which is completely at grade. In addition, all parking and vehicular access is from the west.
